Daniel Le Chocolat Belge
2820 Granville St.
Vancouver
,
BC

Daniel makes very good Belgian-style
chocolates, with a
large variety
of fillings. Many of them are buttercream
based; those were
our
favourite: very soft and smooth, and
melting easily in the
mouth. Many of the buttercream fillings are
flavoured with
alcohol; Cointreau and Rum-Raisin for
example taste very
good.
Daniel Le Chocolat Belge also has two other
addresses: at
1105 Robson Street, and 4447 West 10th
Ave.

Just finished the croissant i bought from them this morning and I haven't had one as good as this a very long time. Propably not since my travels in France a many year ago. I will definitly be returning to Daniel's for more pastries. Thess are a great addition to their chocolate shop. yum

I used to live in Vancouver and when I moved to Toronto I missed my weekly fix of those melt in the mouth truffles from Daniel Le Chocolat Belge. My favourite are the spicy truffles and the hazelnut chocolates.
This week I discovered that Daniel chocolates are now available in the west end of Toronto... (I think that technically it is called Etobicoke). If heading out of Toronto it is on Dundas Street in a strip plaza, just after the Humber River.
They use Callabaut chocolate from Belgium, to make all their yummy treats and many of the chocolate bars are organic. The chocolates are very flavorful and yummy!
