A great place for brunch, as evidenced by the wait on week-end mornings, Bonjour Brioche offers various kinds of sweet and savory foods with a French accent. Very good croissants and brioches, that come in several flavors (chocolate, almond, custard). Tarte Tatin (apple pie baked upside down, with deliciously moist apples) can sometimes be spotted. Bonjour Brioche also offers cakes (sold whole or by the slice) and top-of-the-line baguettes, fresh and perfectly crusty.

This place used to be one of my favourite places in Toronto for a quick coffee and croissant or a nice weekend breakfast spot but the last time iI was there the coffee tasted really bad and the chocolate filling in the croissant had shrunk to an unacceptable skimpy portion. Sadly, I'm not rushing back. Have a fabulous coffee at the Dark Horse up the street instead.

Sorry that I had to drive this far for such crumby service! I should have stayed in Caledon where smiles and friendly faces are the norm. What has happened to the "Special" place I used to love and take extra time I will not be returning soon, and you are off my radar list....too bad. to travel to?
