With neary a loaf of bread in sight, Montreal Bakery is not really a bakery, but a hip place to have an elaborate sandwich or a nice dessert. Tarte tatin, creme brulee, tiramisu, cheesecake and various kinds of parfaits (layered creamy desserts in a glass) are on display. Several kind of morning pastries are also available; the brioche aux raisins for example is very good, soft and moist with the right amount of custard built-in.

While the quality of the food at Montreal Bakery is good, the prices tend to be somewhat steep.
