Pear-raisin clafoutiRaisin-Pear Clafouti Recipe

Mix all the ingredients (except pears and raisins) together, until smooth. Butter a 20 cm (8 inches) square baking dish. Core the pears and peel them if needed (some kinds of pears, like Bartletts, don't need peeling as their skin is very thin). Cut the pears in chunks and put in an oven dish. Sprinkle the raisins on top of the pears. Pour the batter on top of the fruit. Bake at temperature 200 degrees Celsius (390 Fahrenheit) for about 35-40 minutes, until set.

This clafouti is delicious when still slightly warm, but will also stay fresh for a couple days if advance preparation is required.
