On the hipper part of Queen West, Vienna Home Bakery makes its signature pillar-shaped loaf, as well as bakery-style pastries: ginger muffins, maple-pecan tarts, soft and fluffy scones (make sure you have jam around, since they're made without sugar), lemon custard tart with a light shortbread crust and topped with burned sugar (like a cr�me br�l�e), cookies, etc. Everything we tasted was good and freshly baked. Light lunches (sandwiches and soups) are also available.
