Baan Suan Pai restaurant is a vegetarian heaven in Bangkok. The variety, the quality, the taste and the freshness of the dishes are unparalleled, and so are their prices (one dish costs around 20 Bahts; eating more than 100 B worth of food if difficult -- though tempting). The restaurant is organized like a food court, each stand offering its own specialty (you can also see the food being prepared right in front of you). Thai, Chinese and Japanese food are available. Many traditional Thai dishes are offered in a vegetarian version (try for example the "fish balls" and noodle soup , or the "chicken" skewers). Also available are an assortment of appetizers, rice and noodle dishes, soups, ec... Thai desserts, ice-cream made with Thai fruits, Thai herbal drinks and fresh fruit juice are all there -- dragonfruit juice can sometimes be spotted!
