Tamarind Cafe is one of our favourite restaurants in Bangkok. The all-vegetarian menu is very eclectic and offers something for every palate. Most dishes are inspired by a specific cuisine, be it Thai, French, Chinese, Japanese, Mexican or Italian, and are always prepared without meat, but never without flare! One of the star dishes is the delicious mushroom steak, served with a pepper sauce, rice and fresh vegetables. Brunch is also offered every day, with American-style breakfast food (eggs, pancakes or French toasts can be sighted).

The dessert case is equally attractive, showing many fine French-style pastries or plated desserts -- all of them absolutely delicious. Don't miss having them with a scoop of homemade ice-cream, try for example the interesting chocolate-rosemary flavour, called aphrodisiac.

The decor is also very attractive, with artistic photography exhibits changing every few weeks.
